Trunk or Treat

This past weekend we went to our wards Trunk or Treat. It was a good time! First we had a chili dinner and then a costume parade and contest, which my kids won for the best homemade costume! Then they had a haunted house that the kids were able to go through and the Young Women did the booth with the donuts tied to a sting and you have to eat it with out any hands. Well while I was busy helping out in there and Josh was busy taking the other 3 kids around Rylenn somehow got lost. I think it was my fault. But no worries, she was found. Thank goodness we were only at the church building where she couldn't have gone far. And come to find out one of my friends was keeping an eye on her making sure she didn't escape outside. Thanks! After that it was off to the parking lot for some good ol trunk or treat! One of our friends dad had a really scary mask and cloak on and was on some stilts. Most of the little kids were pretty scared. Not Tucker, he just went over there and was staring, then the guy finally asked if he wanted to shake his hand, no problem he walked right over there and did. Sometimes it scares me what little fear that kid has! Over all we had a really good time!

Those eyelashes could kill, Not looking forward to High School!

Man handsome cowboy is now a pirate!

She loved wearing her costume, never took a piece of it off. She just walked around saying RRRRRRRRR to everyone!

And last but not least my beautiful chub of a pirate, she loved the tool, she just kept sucking on it all night! Hey if it makes her happy!

P.S. Can someone help me with my Header? why is my picture not fitting?

Update: Bad day

So I wish that I could say that my day got better, no luck! Just after lunch I spilt salsa all down me and I quickly took off my pants and rinsed them in the shower so it wouldn't stain, only to remember that my cell phone was in the pocket. So yes I will be without a phone, hopefully for only a couple of days! Then I quickly put a load in the wash including those stained salsa pants, after that I vowed I wasn't going to move, hoping to escape any other bad luck that was on my way! All 3 of the kids were in bed so I was just planning on sitting on the couch and watching some T.V. As I was enjoying Oprah I remembered that it was my day to drive, I looked at the clock and realized I needed to leave right then. Josh was home so I could leave the sleeping kids in bed, maybe my day was getting better, Ya right! I was headed out the door while digging through my purse looking for my keys, You guess it, they weren't there. Where could they be? So I started looking everywhere, the counter, my other purse, the table, my pockets. Then it hit me my keys were in the pocket with my cell phone in the salsa stained pants that are now washing in the wash! And that is our only set! I have a front loading washer so you just can't open it, it locks shut. I didn't know what to do so I shut off the washer and after a couple of seconds I could see that it was starting to drain, so there I stood waiting for this stupid thing to drain just so I could see if maybe my keys were in there. After it drained the door unlocked, so now it was just a matter of digging through the wet soapy hot clothes to find the keys, I found the pants, checked the pockets, no keys. You have got to be kidding me! I spun the washer to see if I could here them when all the clothes moved. Yep they were in there all clean and shinny! So far my clicker on my key chain still works. Hopefully it will still be working tomorrow to. Luckily that has been the end of my bad luck, I hope. Lets just hope no one brakes in our house in the middle of the night or something outrageous like that! I'm glad this day is almost over!

Please tell me I'm dreaming!

Or having a nightmare would be more like it. This morning I was woke up by Rylenn 30 minutes before my alarm was to go off. DREAD! I knew that there was no point in forcing her to go back to bed, but desperately wanting that last couple of minutes of sleep I told her to go get a book and I would read it to her, hoping she would be distracted by some toys along the way. Surprisingly she went for it. As I was half, trying to go back to sleep and half trying to listen to the monitor to make sure she was just playing in her room, I realized that it was to quiet. So after a couple of minutes I got up, to find Rylenn had fallen asleep on the stairs. So now that I was up a little early I decided to get the kids up early and thought it would be good for us to get an early start on the day. WRONG! I should have stayed in bed! As I was about to get the breakfast stuff out I remembered that I hadn't gone to the store the night before like I needed to so we had no cereal, no problem we can have toast. Oh wait we used the last of the bread at lunch yesterday and I forgot to pull more out of the freezer. OK I can handle this we will just have muffins. Since muffins take more time we'll just get Emmy ready for school first and then eat right before we have to leave. So as I'm making the muffins, Haydenn has woken up and is now screaming in her bed, when I went to go get her up she was covered in poop. Yes Poop! I don't know how the girl did it but her diaper was hanging have way off and there was crap everywhere , literally! So I leave her in there run back to finish the muffins cause those need to be baking while I clean up Haydenn. By this time Haydenn is really mad! So I run her through the bath, dress her, myself and help Emmy, comb hair, tuck in shirt, fix belt, untie knots in shoes, sign homework folder, make Emmys lunch, and about this time the buzzer goes off for the muffins (did I tell you that I did clean off Haydenn but her bed is still covered in poop!). As I'm pulling out the muffins Rylenn is standing at my feet throwing up everywhere! I shove the muffing back into the oven burning the heck out of my hand! With Ry still throwing up and me starting to cry I grab the nearest thing that can hold throw up. By this time it is all over the floor, all over her and me as I'm standing over the sink bawling running cold water over my burnt thrown up hand! Oh ya and it is my turn to drive the kids to school! All before 7:30 this morning!

We've got spirit!

A couple of weeks ago Emmy had spirit week at school. She was really funny about it, every morning she would wake up saying she wanted to do it. But then just as we were about to leave the house for school she would second guess her decision and want to either change her clothes or her hair or what ever it was. So I would have to talk her into it and reassure her that every body would be participating and that she would be glad she had done it. I was kind of shocked that she was this way. Emmy usually has no problem being in the spot light. I guess being in the spot light and being humiliated are two different things. She did participate in most of the spirit week but I couldn't talk her into backwards day, where they were suppose to wear their clothes backwards. NO way, she was not about to participate in that. She did participate in everything else and I think she had a good time.

CrAzy HaIR dAy! Emmy was a little apprehensive about letting me do her hair for crazy hair day, but I promised her I wouldn't go to overboard. After I got all the little pony tails in at the top of her hair she said it was fine, she would do it, but when I put all the crazy ribbon in she said, NO WAY take them out. I told her that they looked fine and that she could ask Joann what she thought when we went to pick her up and if she didn't like it I would take them out before we got to school. Well when Joann got in the car she had the exact same hair do, ribbons and all. So Emmy was ok with hers. It's no wonder that the whole school thinks that they are twins!

PJ day! I was really surprised but this was the day she wanted to do the most. She was so excited to get to wear her PJ's to school!

Jersey day! Emmy doesn't really have any jerseys all the sports teams she has ever been on only had t-shirts, which I guess she could have worn as a jersey, but good ol Aunt Sawyer let her borrow her basketball jersey. Doesn't she look so cute!!! Love those freckles! There was hat day as well but I could just kick myself, I forgot to take a picture. Oh well I just love this girl!

Popsicle kind of day!

Last Thursday morning we headed up to Eagar. The weather was a little uncooperative and it was really windy and rained almost the whole time. Usually when we go up my kids never come in the house, a lot of the time dad will even sleep outside with them. It was so sad, this time they just had to stay in. Tucker stood by the back door just watching it rain waiting for it to brake so he could go out! Well every once in awhile it would let up just enough to go enjoy a popsicle on the back porch, and every one knows an ice cream popsicle can make any rainy day better!

Can hardly wait!

Well I have a lot of things to catch up, so be prepared for lots of new posts.

Conference weekend always calls for some good food and with Mema and Papa around anything goes! This is Rylenn discovering a new treat, dipping Wheat thins in chocolate frosting. Now, who is going to clean her up?

Love the scrunchy nose!

I love love love conference weekend! What better way to spend a weekend then listening to council and guidance from men and women who have been ex specially chosen to speak to us!

We usually go over to my parents house to enjoy each others company while listening to conference, however our family is getting quite large with all the grand kids and stuff so it is getting harder and harder to actually hear what is being said. But even with that it seems like those special men always have a spirit about them that is undeniable! I love to listen to the leaders of our church! I always come away thinking I want to be a better mom and wife and ex specially a better missionary!

The boys always go to the Priesthood session together and then go out to eat somewhere and face all the millions of lines with men in white shirts and ties, which makes for a fun girls night at home. We usually rent a movie and order take out! Then Sunday we spend together being spiritually re energized, eating good food, and spending precious time with family! Six more months and then we get to do it all again. I can hardly wait!

I love Shabby Princess. I love their free desktops that they do every month. I'm always so excited to see them, they are always so cute. And I'm getting a little better with Photoshop I know that there is way more that can be done with it, but for now look what I did!!!
Thanks Shabby Princess for making it so easy!!!

P.S. Does anybody know how to change the line spacing in Photoshop?
