Warm weather = little jean skirt!

A couple of weeks ago, Rylenn asked me what the weather was going to be like for the day. When I told her it was going to be warm, she got a huge smile on her face and ran upstairs. She came down with her little jean skirt that has been sitting in her drawer just begging to be warn all winter long. We had the conversation many times that she couldn't wear it till it got warm outside, so today was the day she would get to wear her skirt!

She is so funny, it was like she had been planning this for a long time, she knew exactly what shirt she wanted to wear, and she had to wear her long knee socks with it. After she had gotten dressed I just didn't have the heart to tell her that she had grown out of her favorite little jean skirt and that we would have to give it to Haydenn. I think I'll let her enjoy it just for the day and then break the news to her tomorrow!

Gotta love her knee socks that don't fit either. They just bunch up cause her legs are so skinny and if you do try to pull them tight they go clear to her waist.
She came up with this pose all on her own!
Looks like we'll be shopping for a new little jean skirt!

Stickers!

At our house we LOVE stickers!!!!

All my kids do. Emmy even has a sticker book that she collects stickers in. I want to make sticker books for my other kids to, cause they love them. And it is a cheap, fun, prize that they love getting. Haydenn has recently found that you can put stickers all over you and that you get a big reaction out of people when you do. So the last couple of times she has gotten a hold of any stickers this is what she does.

She puts them anywhere and everywhere she can find a place!
She was so proud of herself! She walked around the house to make sure everyone saw and when everyone laughed and started making a big deal about it, she thought she was hot stuff. She wore them for the rest of the evening and cried when I had to take them off so she could go to bed.
Looks like we will be buying more stickers!

Haydenns Turn!

Since my little girls are so close together in age, when one birthday comes around the other isn't far behind.

So Haydenn is now 2. SCARY! We were very busy the week and weekend of her birthday. We were going to be in Eagar for a farewell and so just decided to have her birthday celebration up there with cousins and Grandma and Grandpa.
Ok so before you see these pictures I just have to say that we had been riding in the car for 4 hours and then she had been playing outside with all her cousins under her dads supervision. So don't mind the scraggly hair with one bow, or the fact that she just has a onsie on that's not even buttoned, or that she is filthy dirty. Hey, it's her birthday right! And by the time she got to open her present and blow out the candles it was right before bed, and I'm sure she did not feel like getting all dolled up just for the pictures.

Even filthy dirty and hair uncombed, I think she is a cutie! And that smile of hers brightens my day and makes me smile! Grandma made her this beautiful horse shoe cake complete with a My little pony on top!
Waiting to blow out the candles!
Blowing them out, although I think she probably had some help from all the cousins that were standing at the edge of the table.

That's about all the pictures I got. I'm a little sad but it was a crazy night. We also celebrated Grandpas birthday to since his and Haydenns are only a day apart.
I am going to take some birthday pictures of Haydenn to, so I will post those later!
Just the other day I was reading on my side bar the descriptions I had written of my kids. And oh my how Haydenns has changed! She use to be this quited, calm, mellow, happy about everything kind of baby. Well I guess she figured that as the fourth child if you want to be heard you better speak up. She is now very very loud! This child does not have a quiet button! When she wants something and she isn't getting it, she grunts. Yes, grunts! It's kind of funny and usually gets us laughing. She doesn't think it's funny though, she just wants what she wants! She is also very stubborn, and does not give in easily! She has learned that if she crys to the point where she holds her breath that people start to jump around her. So she uses that to her advantage. It's funny cause the neurologist warned me that at about the age of 2 that if we weren't care full that she would do this. And oh boy does she! She hasn't had a lot of seizures in this last little bit but she seems to pass out so easily! We will be seeing the neurologist again soon so he can do some follow up testing.
Although Haydenns personality is changing we wouldn't have her any other way. She is so funny! She is obsessed with any movie that has music in it. Ariel will forever be her favorite and if you even break out in a Ariel song she will be your new best friend! But Balloo (Jungle Book), Maid Marien (Robin Hood), and Aladdin run a close second! She loves to sit in front of a movie and sing and dance!
Some of the other things Haydenns loves right now, is playing with Rylenn and playing either, My little ponies, or Littlest Pet Shop, or Polly Pockets, or Barbies, or playing with her babies. Rylenn loves to dress up and is usually tring to get Haydenn to join in by shoving a dress over her head. Haydenn wants nothing to do with it! Her extent of playing dress up is a purse over her shoulder and maybe a crown. Haydenn loves nursery but hates the rest of church. She loves having Rylenn in there with her and she loves when they do bubbles and sing songs of course!
Some of the things I love about Haydenn are, her unique dark hair and dark eyes, how she will just crawl up on your lap and burst into a song, how she loves to eat cereal and will eat like 3 or 4 bowls if I let her, how she sleeps in longer then any of my other kids ever did, and when she does wake up she doesn't want out of her bed till she has read her book and had a chance to play with her Ariel and Sebatian toys for a little bit. I love how she keeps me on my toes and when shes throwing a fit or crying I have to stop and listen for her to take a breath before I can go on ignoring her. I love how she loves her Aunts and Uncles and for some reason has latched onto both sets of Grandpas and has them wrapped around her little finger! I love that she is fearless when it comes to animals, and loves to be right in the middle of the pigs, or chasing the chickens, or laying on top of the dog, or riding forever on the horse. So although my quiet, mellow well tempered baby has turned into a loud, stubborn, very active 2 year old, I love her so much! and am excited to see what this next year bring to us!

The birthday party!

This year we let Rylenn have a couple of friends over for a birthday party! All the girls had a really good time! And Rylenn loved all the attention on her! We painted crowns, made candy necklaces, and of course had cupcakes and ice cream!

Rylenn with all her presents and decorations! Pink and Purple her favorite colors!

I can't believe she is already 3 years old! She is growing up way to fast!

Blowing out the candles!
Best part of having a birthday party, good friends!

This was the invitation to Rylenns birthday party. It says " Some girls were born with glitter in their veins!" All the party info was printed on the back.

Rylenn, or should I say, The Princess!

For Rylenns birthday I decided to take some pictures of her and make our own birthday invites. Well lets just say she loved taking pictures! Pose after pose after pose. I love it when they cooperate!

I asked her what she wanted to wear, this is what she came up with! Fits her personality to the tee!

Blowing kisses!

Oh my!
Pretty as a Princess!

This picture is one of my favorites! This is exactly who she is, always twirling and flipping her hair!

Rylenn loves going to ballet and tap class. You can see even when she is dressed in her dance clothes it puts her in a good mood!

Kissy face!

I love those big blue eyes!

She would have worn them all day if I would have let her!

Oh I love this girl and her big personality!

Basketball

Emmy and Tucker just finished basketball. Since Josh had volunteered to be a coach they allowed Emmy and Tucker to be on the same team. They both did really well! In the second to last game both kids scored 3 baskets. They were so excited!

Coach Wilkins giving his team a pep talk before the game!

Emmy taking a shot. At the beginning of the season she was a little shy and would usually just pass the ball, but as the season went on and her confidence grew she started taking more and more shots. She ended up being a pretty good shooter!
Tucker had all the confidence in the world and from the first game he was taking every shot he could get off. It didn't faze him a bit that he was again the smallest one on the team! At the beginning he could barely hit the rim, if he was lucky. But by the end he was making quite a bit of his shots!

Giving a team cheer after the game!

The kids had a blast playing basketball especially with Josh as their coach. And he did a great job to. They both received a trophy and a tee shirt, that they proudly display on their shelf. Now it's on to tee ball and coach pitch!
