John Wayne???

So I have to tell you what Tucker did today at the Dr. office. He and Haydenn both had appointments today to get there shots. Tuckers appointment was the one where they get them ready for school so they check there hearing there vision and the Dr. was also asking me if he had a good vocabulary and was easy to understand when he spoke. I answered yes, she then asked him if he could tell her his full name. He responded "Tucker Wayne Wilkins, I'm named after John Wayne, cause we're both cowboys." WHAT? His name is Tucker Wayne Wilkins but he was not named after John Wayne, although I'm sure he would like to be. He is actually named after Josh's brother Rusty, who is Rustin Wayne. Sorry Rusty it looks like John Wayne won this one. I have no idea where he got that, the only thing that I can think of is that last night there were watching "Cowboys" which is a John Wayne movie. This poor Dr. we were in her office a couple of months ago cause Tucker was having an allergic reaction to something. After the Dr. looked at him she said yep, it is an allergic reaction, and he said I know what I'm allergic to, Toilets! Our Dr. must think that we are nuts! Oh well hope she got a good laugh out of it, I know I did! Look out John Wayne, you ain't got nothin on my Cowboy

Taking some down time!

After the 4th of July me and the kids decided that we would stay that next week in Eagar. Not to much was going on at home and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to just sit back and slow down! Josh's sister Becky and her 4 kids also decided to stay that week. We had a blast! I do have to say that if it wasn't for Becky's oldest daughter Kylie who is 12 I don't think it would have been near as enjoyable as it was. Kylie took care of Rylenn the entire week, and that is not always easy to do! Where ever kylie went, Ry was right there with her, and where every Ry went Kylie followed. It was a huge blessing! Sometimes life is just a little crazy and with two little ones so close together it can get overwhelming! It was just what I needed! Now I just have to figure out how to ween Rylenn off of her new best friend Kylie! We had so much fun we took the kids crawdad fishing, rode the quads, rode the horses, had squirt gun fights, swam, played card games, roasted marshmallows and a whole lot more! Here are some of the pics! Sorry there are so many, but how can you choose!
Emmy, Nilson and Tucker crawdad fishing!

The water was really muddy and the crawdads just weren't biting. So Emmy decided she would stick her bucket in the water and see what she could pull out. And what do you know she caught 5 baby crawdads. She was so excited! After we are done they always throw the crawdads back in, but she had to keep the babies so she could show everybody. On the way home all the cousins were asking her if they could have some when they got big and had babies. It was hilarious! The things kids think of. Well she truly thought that when Josh came to get us that weekend that he would let her take them home for a pet. But tragically by the next morning they were all dead. It was fun while it lasted!

Just before we left town we took advantage of Grandma's beautiful daisies, and took more pics of all the kids!

Can he get any cuter!!!

This was about all I could get of Ry, She may be a handful but it's moments like this that make my heart skip a beat! Doesn't she just make you smile!!

If you look close you can see Haydenns cute dimple!

Once again I just have to say a huge thank you to Josh's mom and sister for a fun week and all of there huge help with my kids, but exspecially to Kylie, Thanks a million!

4th of July

All the cousins, before the parade. Koley, Kayden, Emmy, Haydenn, Kiley, Bailey, Rylenn. Tucker, Reese, Nilson, and Skye We love the fourth of July!!! We go every year up to Eagar, there is always lots going on! This year was also Josh's ten year class reunion which was a lot of fun to. Friday we spent that morning at the parade, which was one of the best ones I've seen in a long time! My kids are some of the youngest out of the cousins so shortly after the parade started and candy was being thrown they realized that the older kids were much faster then they were at getting the candy. So we devised a plan! I took Emmy and Tucker out of the middle of all the kids and just to the out side of everyone else where they were all by themselves. I told them that when they saw someone that was throwing candy to just stand there and wave to them. It worked like a charm, I mean come on who could resist the cutest kids in the world!! Ha Ha They did walk away with a lot of candy. Josh rode in the parade on his class reunions float so I was all by myself with all four kids. Luckily I have an aw some Mother in Law who held Rylenn during the parade so I could help with the others. After the parade we always go back to Josh's parents house and have lunch, and just about the time that lunch is over, the BBQ right next door at my Grandparents begins. Our families put a gate in between the two yards so we just go back and forth all day between the two families. The rest of the day usually consists of swimming, horse back riding, water fights, riding quads, and hanging out with the family! Seriously what more could you ask for!

Emmy and Tucker at the parade!

This is Haydenns idea of a good time! But hey who's complaining!

My favorite thing about the 4th of July is getting to buy all the cute clothes. So it has become a tradition to come home from the parade and take a couple of photos in our red, white, and blue!

My 3 princesses!

Emmys traditional 4th of July photo in the Daisies!

Tucker wasn't as excited to be taking pictures in the daisies.

With Ry you have to be quick, she doesn't ever stay in one spot for to long!
