A boy and the girl he loves!

From the beginning Tucker has been in love with one girl. Every once in awhile another girl will creep in there along with her but she is always there! My brothers and sisters use to tease Tucker about having a girlfriend and he would always tell them that his girlfriend was Jessy. Jessy (Jessica) is the girl on "The Man from Snowy River". Then when he saw "Toy Story 2" and the cowgirls name was Jessy he assumed they were they same girl, and has loved "Jessy" ever since. One time I asked him why he liked Jessy, he said because she can ride a horse!

Well a couple of weeks ago we got a phone call from a good friend who has been trying to sell his horses. He got the others sold but was desperate to get rid of the last one. Well we worked out a deal with him and got this awesome new horse! Yes we still have Sugar Cookie but now we also have ... Yup you guessed it, Jessy!

Tucker, and the rest of us ex specially love Jessy because she is old enough to be ridden, unlike Sugar Cookie who is not quite old enough yet.

Look Mom I'm a real Cowboy, No Hands! Yay cause everybody knows cowboys ride with no hands LOL!

Jessy hadn't been ridden in a long time so we weren't quite sure how she was going to act. Josh got on by himself first to kind of test her out. Rylenn was so mad that we wouldn't let her on. All she kept saying was that is my horsey, I want to hold my horsey. Well after Josh was on her awhile and could see she was pretty gentle we finally let Ry get on her horsey! Then the problem was getting her off!

What a stud! This is my cousin Crew on Jessy!

My other cousin Kashley taking her turn on Jessy.

This is my beautiful cousin Jentry, who, yes boys is single! So if you want her phone number leave me a comment!

No pics of Emmy because she forgot her shoes up at the house and didn't want to go back to get them! New rule no riding unless you have shoes on, good shoes! No pics of Haydenn either who was taking a much needed nap! No worries though I'm sure there will be plenty of pics in the future of the kids riding Jessy!

We had an awesome weekend in Cottonwood picking up Jessy. Not only did we get to pick up our new horse but we had an awesome time with my Aunt Nat and Uncle Scott and their family. Thanks guys for letting us stay with you, can't wait to do it again!

Stay at arms length away!

Notice to Everyone!
Our house has been infected with pink eye! Yuck! I hate this stuff, all green and goopy! So the Dr. tells me until the girls (Emmy and Rylenn) have been on antibiotics for at least 24 hours our house is very contagious. And you know how it goes with a house full of little kids, every one passes around everything. So I'm eye dropping everyone at least 3 times a day. Hopefully we can beat this thing before we all get it! Not to mention that this weekend is my brothers homecoming and of course Easter! I can't be shut up in my house! So for now stay away and wish us luck!

Ry in Ribbons

The other day I wasn't feeling well and had just been laying on the couch most of the day, well Ry was getting a little bored and she started to bring me all the ribbons out of the drawer telling me she wanted to wear them. After I ran out of places to put them in her hair I started putting them everywhere else, which she thought was hilarious!
I don't know what she liked more, the silly ribbons all over her, or all the pics I was taking of her!

Painting Puppets!

I love to do crafts, I'm not the best at them but I love making and trying new things. I think that I have rubbed off on my kids to, cause they are always asking me if I have anything they can make. Well the other day I saw these cute puppet things at Michael and knew my kids would have a blast. I was so excited because they were only a buck! How much better can you get. Something for the kids to do that cost almost nothing. I got one for all the kids so they could do puppet shows and stuff. Me, Tucker and Emmy painted all of them while Rylenn and Haydenn took their nap, and then when they woke up they were so excited to start making up their puppet shows. Totally into their painting!

Who is this? and what have you done with my kids?

Emmy did a fantastic job painting her flower!!

Tucker was more into the colorful thing! I love that his bed head hair goes perfectly with the monkey!

Rylenn made such a cute Lady Bug!

I couldn't get Haydenn to hold her butterfly up to her face, so no pic of her! My kids have spent hours with these things making up puppet shows and I have spent many hours watching puppet shows! But a day spent together and hours of them spending together makes it all worth it!

A Day in the Desert!

A couple of posts ago I talked about how we went to the desert to celebrate Haydenns birthday, but I forgot to post about the rest of the things we did.

We had so much fun, I can't wait till we can all go back out again!
We played a little softball! I love softball I use to play short stop when I was younger and totally miss it!

The kids joined in on the fun as well. Look at that form, he is actually pretty good!

We had a blast riding the quads! Grandma with Emmy and Rylenn and Uncle Rusty in the back round.

Grandpa taking Haydenn for a ride. I love that her bib says Biker Chick!

Of course they had a blast playing in the dirt!

Rylenn was so funny, just walking around and talking to herself. I guess she just loved being out in the open! Then Grandma surprised the kids with kites to fly. It was a perfect day to, just enough wind. Emmy was so nice to help Ry fly it!

Emmy trying to get her kite off the ground!

Aunt Becky helping Tucker get his kite up and flying!

I thought this was a cool pic of the kites! You can just tell what a nice day it was!

Probably the best part of the day was watching Tucker play with (or should I say wrestle) Bronx. Bronx is Rusty and Ashlee's dog, but looks just like our dog Zoey. It was so funny, Becky and her family had already gone home, Rusty and Grandpa had gone on a 4-wheeler ride, Josh was out helping Emmy fly her kite, Haydenn was asleep in the car, so there was only a few of us there. Bronx would come over to Tucker and try to get his toy and then the match would start. Tucker was trying to climb on him so he could ride him like a bull. You know Tucker, everything is a bull to ride! It was hilarious to watch they would just roll around in the dirt together, every once in awhile Tucker would swing his leg over and get on, But it usually ended up by him being dragged by Bronx. You think it would hurt, but Tuck is use to it I guess! We laughed and laughed till our cheeks hurt! There is something to be said about a little boy and his dog!

One of the times Tucker is being dragged by Bronx!

Every time I though Bronx had, had enough he would go up to Tucker like he wanted to play some more!

A couple of times Tucker actually got on, just not always the right way!

A little boy, a dog, and some dirt on your face, now that is a good day!

All in all we had a great day! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for having us out we can't wait to do it again!!!

Love those Leprechauns!

Well I know that St. Patricks Day has long come and gone but I've been busy and hadn't had the chance to do this post. So here it is!

Emmy came home from school where they had talked about Leprechauns, and she decided that we needed to build us a Leprechaun trap so we could catch them and then of course get their pot of gold. So that evening was spent coloring, cutting and gluing a trap for the Leprechauns.

We all know that Leprechauns a pesky little guys who are full of mischief and love to do the exact opposite of whatever it is that you ask of them. So Emmy and my little sister Sawyer came up with this idea to build a stage and on it have a sign that says Please Stay OFF the Stage, knowing that they wouldn't be able to resist staying off they built in a trap door. When the Leprechauns got on the stage they would fall into the trap! So the stage was built and placed upstairs in our loft where we were sure that they would see it.

The next morning we were so excited to see if indeed we had got ourselves a Leprechaun! But it seemed that our trap was a little flawed and instead of a Leprechaun, here is what we got...
This was the stage that we had made. But the Leprechauns destroyed it and left this note saying

"Ha Ha! You thought you could trick us - Try again next year. Hope you like cleaning up our mess! The Leprechauns weren't totally cold hearted they did leave the kids some of their pot of gold, in the form of gold candy!

And here is part of the mess they left for the kids to clean up. Those pesky Leprechauns! We will get them next year!

Well a little less messy was Emmy's St. Patricks Day hair do. I don't know if you can tell or not, but here is a picture of the clover hair do she had!

Here is Emmy right before school with her clover hair do. She is getting so big so fast I can't believe she is almost done with first grade and that in the next year and a half she will be baptized.

Hope every one had a happy St. Patricks day!

I Must have Blinked!

Haydenn is 1
A couple of weeks ago was Haydenn's first birthday! I can't believe that it has been a whole year! When I found out that I was pregnant, and realized that I was going to have 2 little girls only a year apart I was a little nervous! Everyone told me that if you can make it through the first year then you'll be fine. And here we are at the end of that first year! Yes I will admit it wasn't a walk in the park! Some days were really really tough and other were not so bad! But look at this cutie, I am so glad that we have her!!

Haydenn and her Grandpa Wilkins birthdays are only a couple of days apart. Grandpa wanted everyone to go out to the desert and ride quads and grill hot dogs and just hang out for his birthday so we decided to just make it a double birthday and do Haydenns there to!

Grandma provide this cute cupcake cake for Grandpa and Haydenn

She was so proud that she finally got a piece of the paper off! She was taking way to long to open her presents so all the kids joined in and helped her, but I think it left Rylenn a little confused. Now she thinks that all the stuff is for her.

At my Mom and Dads house on Sunday we sang happy birthday and had cake with my family!

I'm no cake decorator but it was fun to try! I saw this on a web site and thought it was so cute. The picture looked a lot better and I had to improvise a little, but I think it turned out ok!

She was so funny eating her cake! At first she wasn't quite sure what to do with it. But she caught on pretty quick!I think she liked playing in it more then she liked eating it. She kept squishing it between her fingers and laughing!

Haydenn has been such a joy to us, we love her so much and all her chub chub (Ry has nick named her chub chub for obvious reasons)! I love at this age where they are starting to show their little personalities. Haydenn loves to give hugs and kisses! When ever I pick her up, first thing she does is barry her face into me, but it doesn't last long, just a quick hug is all you get so you better enjoy it. Kisses on the other hand she will give over and over, and they are the open mouth full of slobber kind.

She still isn't walking and I really don't even think she is close. I think all of her extra chub slows her down just a bit! She can stand on her own but doesn't! She is to much of a chicken. She will be standing all on her own but then when she realizes it she starts to get nervous and sits down.

Haydenn has also had figured out that is small closed rooms (mostly at church) that her voice will echo. So if you take her into the bathroom, mothers lounge, or into the overflow which is where they hold Elders quorum she just yells the whole time listening to the sound of her own voice, and this isn't a quite little cute yell she does, this is a full on totally disrupting, loud as she can get yelling!

Aside from church Haydenn is a very very good baby! She never cries unless she needs something. She is content to play with her toys or watch the other kids play. She is so smiley and has been from very early on, someone just has to look at her or give her just a little attention and she is smiling and laughing! Haydenn also loves lotion when ever I start to rub the lotion on her she starts giggling. It must tickle or something but I love it! It makes me laugh every time!

Haydenn, unlike my other 2 girls who are blonde and blue eyed, has dark hair and dark eyes which I love! Now I just need another boy who is blonde and blue eyed and I'll have one of everything.

Right now Haydenn is totally in love with my brothers and both sets of Grandparents. She would much rather go to any of them then to me. I think it is because they give her what ever she wants. Ex specially my brother Jordan if he is even in the room she is fighting to get to him. He gives her his cell phone to play with to try to win her over, and it has definitely works, she loves him!

We love Haydenn so much and are so grateful that she came into our family! I can't wait to see what the future holds for her!
