Taking some down time!

After the 4th of July me and the kids decided that we would stay that next week in Eagar. Not to much was going on at home and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to just sit back and slow down! Josh's sister Becky and her 4 kids also decided to stay that week. We had a blast! I do have to say that if it wasn't for Becky's oldest daughter Kylie who is 12 I don't think it would have been near as enjoyable as it was. Kylie took care of Rylenn the entire week, and that is not always easy to do! Where ever kylie went, Ry was right there with her, and where every Ry went Kylie followed. It was a huge blessing! Sometimes life is just a little crazy and with two little ones so close together it can get overwhelming! It was just what I needed! Now I just have to figure out how to ween Rylenn off of her new best friend Kylie! We had so much fun we took the kids crawdad fishing, rode the quads, rode the horses, had squirt gun fights, swam, played card games, roasted marshmallows and a whole lot more! Here are some of the pics! Sorry there are so many, but how can you choose!
Emmy, Nilson and Tucker crawdad fishing!

The water was really muddy and the crawdads just weren't biting. So Emmy decided she would stick her bucket in the water and see what she could pull out. And what do you know she caught 5 baby crawdads. She was so excited! After we are done they always throw the crawdads back in, but she had to keep the babies so she could show everybody. On the way home all the cousins were asking her if they could have some when they got big and had babies. It was hilarious! The things kids think of. Well she truly thought that when Josh came to get us that weekend that he would let her take them home for a pet. But tragically by the next morning they were all dead. It was fun while it lasted!

Just before we left town we took advantage of Grandma's beautiful daisies, and took more pics of all the kids!

Can he get any cuter!!!

This was about all I could get of Ry, She may be a handful but it's moments like this that make my heart skip a beat! Doesn't she just make you smile!!

If you look close you can see Haydenns cute dimple!

Once again I just have to say a huge thank you to Josh's mom and sister for a fun week and all of there huge help with my kids, but exspecially to Kylie, Thanks a million!

4th of July

All the cousins, before the parade. Koley, Kayden, Emmy, Haydenn, Kiley, Bailey, Rylenn. Tucker, Reese, Nilson, and Skye We love the fourth of July!!! We go every year up to Eagar, there is always lots going on! This year was also Josh's ten year class reunion which was a lot of fun to. Friday we spent that morning at the parade, which was one of the best ones I've seen in a long time! My kids are some of the youngest out of the cousins so shortly after the parade started and candy was being thrown they realized that the older kids were much faster then they were at getting the candy. So we devised a plan! I took Emmy and Tucker out of the middle of all the kids and just to the out side of everyone else where they were all by themselves. I told them that when they saw someone that was throwing candy to just stand there and wave to them. It worked like a charm, I mean come on who could resist the cutest kids in the world!! Ha Ha They did walk away with a lot of candy. Josh rode in the parade on his class reunions float so I was all by myself with all four kids. Luckily I have an aw some Mother in Law who held Rylenn during the parade so I could help with the others. After the parade we always go back to Josh's parents house and have lunch, and just about the time that lunch is over, the BBQ right next door at my Grandparents begins. Our families put a gate in between the two yards so we just go back and forth all day between the two families. The rest of the day usually consists of swimming, horse back riding, water fights, riding quads, and hanging out with the family! Seriously what more could you ask for!

Emmy and Tucker at the parade!

This is Haydenns idea of a good time! But hey who's complaining!

My favorite thing about the 4th of July is getting to buy all the cute clothes. So it has become a tradition to come home from the parade and take a couple of photos in our red, white, and blue!

My 3 princesses!

Emmys traditional 4th of July photo in the Daisies!

Tucker wasn't as excited to be taking pictures in the daisies.

With Ry you have to be quick, she doesn't ever stay in one spot for to long!

Locks of Love!

So awhile back I donated my hair to locks of love and Emmy was sitting on my lap when I was looking it up on the Internet to find the address. Right on their front page, they have before and after pictures of little girls that have benefited from the donated hair. Well of course this started all the questions. I had to explain to her that some kids get really sick and loose there hair so people that aren't sick can give them their hair and they will make wigs for them. She thought that this was really cool. So I think right there and then she made up her mind that this is what she wanted to do. So I told her after Kindergarten was over and summer started that I would take her to get her hair cut. But before I could I had to take some pics of her beautiful hair! She was really excited to get it done. The whole way there Josh kept telling her that she could back out if she wanted to, that she didn't have to go through with it (he loved her long hair). Once we got there and she got in the seat she started to look a little nervous. I kept asking her if she was OK but she really wouldn't say anything. I was starting to get a little nervous I didn't want to it if she was going to hate it! After they made the first two cuts she looked a little better, but as soon as we walked out of the salon she yelled I LOVE IT! I was so glad because I think I was a little sad. She looks so much older! Then she informed me that she is going to do this over and over and over again till her hair won't grow anymore! I'm so glad that she has such a kind heart and wants to do what she can to help. Emmy truly does have a heart of gold! She is the best kid and I'm lucky to be her Mom!

Just one last pic of that beautiful long hair. It will grow back right! Ha Ha

Getting ready and looking a little nervous!

Definitely nervous now! She later told me the reason she was so nervous was because she thought that Sammee was going to cut it to short!

Not to bad right. She still has some length! And we cut off like 15 inches, Crazy ha!

And the final result. Cute as ever! I just can't believe she is getting so big!

Tomorrow we are actually going back in I think we might have her trim up the back just a little for a cute -A- line. More pics to come!

Amazing Jakes!

A couple of days ago we went to Amazing Jakes for my nephew Brigs birthday. My kids had a blast! This was the first time we had been and so you can imagine how excited they were once we got inside. We first ate and then went to ride the rides! Then just before we left we stopped at the dessert bar, what a perfect family night. Thanks Brig for inviting us to your birthday we had a blast! Here are the pics!
Rylenn and Bryte having fun eating pizza and playing around!
Getting ready to ride the Frog Hopper!
Riding the Frog Hopper was by far their most favorite ride!
Tucker, Emmy, Rhett, Justin, Bryte, and Sawyer
Here we go for another ride! Tucker and friends Reed, and Reddin
And another!
Emmy having fun on the Bumper cars!

Thanks to Uncle Justin even Ry got a turn to ride the frogger and as you can see she loved it!

Shes so little she could hardly see over the lap bar!

Sawyer, Tucker and Emmy all getting dizzy on the tea cup ride! I don't think we will do this one again. Tucker wasn't looking so well when he got off!

Emmy and Tucker waiting in line for another fun ride!

Riding the train, Rylenn wanted to go again and again and again!

Even Haydenn had a good time!

Just a little side note, if you go on Tues night, there family night, it is only $10 for the kids to get the all you can eat buffet and unlimited rides on the kiddy rides. Me and Josh just got the buffet and it was $10 per adult. So for our whole family to eat and ride it was a total of $40 not as bad as I thought it would be.

Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day weekend we went up to Eagar. It was crazy cause that was the weekend that they got all that snow. Ya, can you believe it snow in May! But we had a blast! On Saturday we had a BBQ and then on Monday we went out to the ranch and went 4-wheeling and looked at all the new baby calves! What a fun weekend to just sit back and relax and enjoy the last of the cool weather! Here are all the pictures enjoy!

Getting ready to take the quads out!

All the kids love to ride quads, Rylenn 15 months, Emmy 5, Tucker 4

Mom with all the kids getting ready to go, Josh was so nice to let me ride the red 4-wheeler, it's bigger, better, faster and has more power! Thanks babe!

Ry Ry loved looking at all the new calves! When we got ready to leave all she kept saying was cow, cow!

Emmy always willing to pose for a picture!

Tucker is always in his element when out with the cows! He would live with the cows if we would let him!

Always the best of buds!

Just hangin out!

Had a blast! Check out those dirty faces!

Had to get a close up of that face!

Emmy, always such a mom, taking care of the little ones! Nice hair Ry!

My handsome man!

After getting in trouble the other day for getting all muddy he told me, "cowboys just get dirty Mom!" So everytime I see his dirty face I have to laugh!

Happy 4th Birthday Tuck!

Tuckers birthday was May 17th and he turned 4! I can't believe that he is 4, time flies! We had a good day! My birthday is May 14th, so me and Tuck are starting a new tradition, sometime that week of our birthdays me and him will go to breakfast together. This year we went to IHOP (his favorite place of all time to go). We had a blast! You should see this boy eat when we go to IHOP. He orders off the adult menu and gets a full breakfast, pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns and then he askes for them to bring him bacon to, and he is like licking his plate clean! He loves IHOP! Later that day we opened presents and then his friend Cason Starr came over and we let them go swimming in his new pool! They had a blast! Tucker is such a good boy I'm so lucky to be his Mom. He keeps us on our toes because he is so fear less. My most favorite thing in the whole world is when I have to carry him to bed because he has fallen asleep somewhere and as I'm tucking him in bed I reach down and give him a kiss and tell him I love him, and in his have asleep sweet little voice he whispers back, I love you to! What more could a Mom ask for! I love you Tucker hope you had a good birthday!

Tuckers favorite gift, his new PBR video staring Justin McBride (his favorite bull rider) and the worlds best PBR bulls! Such a cowboy!

Tucker opening another gift!

Singing Happy Birthday to Tucker!
