7 Months Already?
I can't believe my baby is already 7 months old, it can't be! It seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. We love her so much and this is my favorite age of a baby. Sitting and barley learning to crawl, starting to eat solid foods and saying their first words. Yep she has said her first word and I'm pleased to announce that it was Mama.
At Least We're Sharing!
That's what Rylenn said to me when I went to check on them one morning and found they were both using the toilet at the same time! "At least we're sharing!" How could I get mad at that, it was a clever answer! And if I'm completely honest I can remember doing this with my cousin Jennie when we were little, this a lot of other adventures with the toilet. So if this is the worst thing they do, I will count my blessings :)Friday, September 9, 2011
Last Loves!
Ryder was our first puppy to leave our home. Since this was the puppy Rylenn named and took care of I knew it would be especially hard for her! Luckily it was going to my cousin so she had hopes of seeing him in the future. This is the girls playing with him in the yard as we waited for them to come and get him.
Love how Ry is in her dress up clothes, well acually these are her ballet clothes. I don't even know why I get them dressed in the morning! But her pink and Ryders white coat sure look cute together!
Ryder is chasing the girls in the grass. He loves the bucket Haydenn is holding and keeps trying to get it from her!
Is there anything sweeter? I loved watching them play, it just makes me smile! Oh and don't mind her bright green panties hanging out of her leelatard, it's part of her outfit :)
Ry did ok when they came to get Ryder but when they left I looked around and couldn't see her. I found her in her room in a corner. She wasn't crying, tears were just rolling down her cheeks. I got a little chocked up myself and gave her a hug. She said "Mom I'm just so sad!". I'm glad she loved him so much even if it causes a little hurt when we have to say goodby!

A Camping We Will Go!
We had the chance to go camping with about 9 families from around town. I think there was like 35 kids total. It was a blast! We all pitched in for food and had our meals together. We had such a good time we are making it an annual trip.
I have to get one of these! Breckynn would spend hours in it, she loved loved loved it. It's on springs so she just bounces. It was so cute to watch her! I wish I could have gotten a better picture but she wouldn't hold still long enough.
Sadly that is all the pictures I got. I didn't have my camera till the end. I didn't even get any of the boys they were to busy hunting. We had a blast and can't wait till next year!

Crazy hat!
Tucker came home from school the other day wearing this amazing hat that he made at school :)
I love that he has no problem wearing it, he even wore it home on the bus. Love your new hat Tucker!
Thankful for our puppies!
One of the tender mercies after loosing Zoey was that we had one of her own puppies to replace her with.
This is Boss he is the puppy that we are keeping. I'm so glad she had at least 1 fancy fawn so we could keep one that will remind us of Zoey! He was the 1st born and they were born on pioneer day so we wanted to see if we could come up with a pioneer name. Trail Boss was what we came up with and since he was the oldest it fit perfectly! We let all the kids name a puppy (well except Breck) and this one was named by Haydenn.
This is Bo, he started out as the smallest but definitely makes up for it with his looks. I think he is the cutest out of all the white pups. He has no spots and has crystal blue eyes. My little ones love Bo because he will just sit in your lap and cuddle all day long. He was a mommas boy and had the hardest time when Zoey was killed. Emmy named Bo!
This is Little Ann. She was the only girl. It's funny cause Little Ann is far from little. She definitely loves her food. She always makes sure she gets what she wants, and lets her brothers know who's boss. She is a sweety and she loves to explore! Tucker named Little Ann, my kids are really into "Where the Red Fern Grows" so that is where he got her name.
This is Rylenn with Ryder. Yep this is the puppy that she named. She wanted to name him after the movie Rapunzel and she had first picked Pascally. We had to work really hard to convince her to name him something else. So she went with Flynn Ryder. Ry loves Ryder and he loves her. They love to wrestle together! I was quite surprised when she would let him crawl and lick all over her. But she loves him and they get along great! It will be a sad day when we have to say goodbye to Ryder.

Remembering Zoey!
This is going to just be short and sweet and full of pictures cause I really don't want to remember all the details of how Zoey died. Sunday night when we got home from Grandma Browns Zoey had been hit and killed by a car. She was such a good dog and we loved her so much. There was lots of tears and lots of questions from my little ones. Although this week has been a rough one there is lots to be thankful for. First I'm so glad that she was such a good mom to her puppies. When she was killed she orphaned 4 puppies who were exactly 4 weeks old. But because she was such a good mom all are healthy and happy and took really well to the puppy formula I am now making them. It has also been such a blessing that we have those puppies and are able to keep one and love it as much as we have loved Zoey!
I think this is my most favorite picture of Zoey! I love that innocent look of please just let me come in!
I love this picture to, Zoey all cuddled up with her 1st litter of one whole puppy. I stayed up with her for several nights thinking she would have her pups. Then after several sleepless nights she had 1 puppy. But she sure was a cutie. We named her Daphney and she went to some of our really good friends. Zoey was such a good mom to Daphney!
I love this picture to! Tucker and his dog playing in the mud! Tucker had so much fun with Zoey it was a good thing Zoey was such a good dog cause Tucker put her through heck. One day I came out to check on Tucker and he had roped Zoey and was riding her like a bull. I was laughing so hard I ran in to get my camera but when I came back out Tucker was flat on his back and Zoey was licking him to death. He looked at me and said "I got bucked off Mom". Tucker was always trying to rope Zoey, and she was always such a good sport about it!
Although we will miss Zoey terribly we are so grateful to have had her in our family! She was such a good dog for our family! We miss and love you Zoey!
