On February 13th Rylenn turned 2. I know that you might think I'm a little crazy but 2 is my favorite age. I love the fact that they are just getting into their personality and they repeat everything they hear, most of the time without even knowing what it means and using it in the wrong context. She is just so fun to be around!
Some of the things that Rylenn is enjoying right now is, her babies. She loves to play house, she packs a purse and baby around with her all day! Rylenn loves being a girl, putting on makeup, talking on her cell phone, playing mommy, and wearing dresses! It is so weird to me cause Emmy never loved to wear a dress or skirt, don't get me wrong if I asked her if she wanted to wear a skirt she would say yes, but Rylenn begs to wear her skirts or dresses. She tells me, "my beautifuls mom" (her beautifuls are her skirts or dresses). The funny thing about Ry is that she is very much a girl and loves to do girl things, but she can also hang with the boys! She is not afraid to get dirty (see post below), and her and Tucker play together all day long. I guess you could say she is just a very well rounded girl, not is size though she is tiny! Her and Haydenn share clothes! My family likes to tease her and ask her who stole her bum, cause she doesn't really have one. She just laughs and says it's right here!

Rylenn also loves to sing! At every nap and before she goes to bed at night we have to sing like 3 songs to her. Sometimes I get frustrated and hate doing it, but most of the time I end up dying laughing, she just gets so into it and is dead serious!

Ry is also very smart, I think she is going to be a lot like Emmy in the way that she can memorize things. It blows my mind how fast she can have a song or a book memorized! Rylenn is a very happy kid! Never cranky or fussy! But she does have a strong opinion, definitely the strongest out of all my kids. She knows what she wants and she is going to find a way to get it, which is not always bad! She was my first kid to get into my cupboards , play in the toilet and climb on things. Out of all my kids she got all her teeth very early, she could sit up at 4 months and only crawled for a week or two before she was up and walking around. She got rid of her bottle no problem and had no trouble moving to a big bed, and she practically potty trained herself at 18 months. She is just always waiting and ready for the next thing in life. Ry is a very passionate person. If there is something she likes or wants to learn she will put all her energy into it. Rylenn also loves our horse Sugar Cookie! She started this thing where if anybody is talking about Sugar Cookie she say " I love her, I love my Sugar Cookie" and the other day I asked her where she got so smart and she said from Sugar Cookie.
On the day of Rylenns birthday I took the kids to the park and invited some of Ry's friends and cousins, and we sang happy birthday and had cupcakes. But that Sunday my family was coming out for Family Home Evening so we waited till then to have her open her presents and have cake and ice-cream! She loved that her birthday lasted all weekend. At first when I would tell her that her birthday was coming and asked her if she wanted presents she would start crying saying she didn't want Santa to come to town (see this post to know what I'm talking about). I tried to explain best I could that he wasn't coming and that Mom and Dad would be giving her the presents but she still wanted no part of having a birthday. The morning of her birthday Josh called to talk to her on the phone and I could hear him tell her happy birthday, she got so mad and said no Dad, happy birthday to Daddy! Tucker teased her all day long singing happy birthday to her and telling her happy birthday, she would get so mad and say it's not my birthday, happy birthday to Daddy (Josh's birthday was in Jan.). It wasn't till we got to the park and friends would tell her happy birthday and she could see they had gifts for her that she really decided that ya, it could be her birthday! After the park she was totally fine with the birthday thing, a couple of times she would ask me if Santa was coming to town and I would have to remind her that no he still wasn't coming. She cracks me up!
The handsome little fellow in this pic is my nephew Bryte! Isn't he so stinkin cute! Him and Ry are best buds!
I can't believe how green her eyes are! I need to do a post of all my kids and their different eye colors!

A girl this dirty can only mean one thing.....

Haydenn got the first turn and as you can see she loved it!
The kids thought it was just as fun to chase and get chased by the chair!
